Laurent Garosi and Simon Platt have over 40 years’ experience in clinical neurology and neurosurgery between them. They were part of a handful of neurologists in the world over 20 years ago to be involved with the introduction of MRI in veterinary medicine.
Laurent and Simon pride themselves on making neurology practical, approachable and enjoyable to all clinicians. They have authored, and co-authored, over 200 peer-reviewed articles, the majority of which on MR imaging, and published together a successful textbook on small animal neurological emergencies. Together they run a very popular Facebook page called “Veterinary Neurology” which brings more than 34,000 neurology followers from across the globe.
Vet Oracle Teleneurology is a unique platform which puts the patient and clinician’s needs at the centre of its reporting service. This includes reporting on a neuro-imaging study (X-ray, MRI or CT), providing guidance on videos of a puzzling case, or discussing the diagnostic or treatment (medical or surgical) approach of a neurological patient submitted for imaging reporting.
By combining sophisticated advanced visualisation with clinical imaging application, Laurent, Simon and their team aim to deliver an integrated, end-to-end, professional teleneurology service and give all veterinary practices access to specialist neurology expertise.
